Nishant Deshpande
I'm the father of 3 boys (now in college). My kids attended several different schools, mostly public, and private.
I went to school in India and the UK (in a traditional all boys school).
I think the education system is one of the biggest problems in the US today. Our kids are the future, and they can do great things.
Mahatma Gandhi said "Be the change you want to see in the world".
This is my effort.
If you feel the same, you're welcome to join me.
Nina Bhanap
I grew up moving from place to place as my Dad built power and desalination plants around the world. Because of that, I changed schools constantly—home schooling, day schools, boarding school—and somehow I genuinely loved all of it. School was always awesome!
My boys didn't get that, especially in middle school. They had a great group of friends, but the learning part just didn't spark anything. I always felt like something was missing, and that these years could—and should—be glorious and not a passing of time.
That's why I want to help build this school. I want little boys to feel excited, to learn amazing things, and to actually have fun at school. This age is meant to be full of wonder and energy, and both sides of the brain should be firing.
I'm committing to making that happen, at our school.
